Ephemeral Bodies of Contingency

The term of contingency describes states of unpredictability. Meaning logically, something could be true as well as false until the moment of capturing manifests its state within that probability of 50 percent.
True random numbers, at least within the scope of human memory capacity, are being used as a base material for a unique digital sculpture. Through its immaterial substance the ephemeral nature of randomness becomes transparent. The technical complexity of the topic is being condensed and hidden inside a box made of frosted plexiglass. A small display placed behind the glass captures the events but vision is being blurred through the matte finish. Until the sculpture appears on a monitor connected to the box, images remain invisible to the observer.
