Can the look of an object deceive me? If I see a materiality, my mind starts to look for possible reactions to the touch. When the reality doesn’t fit the expectations, I’m surprised. Was it always so soft? So fragile? So flexible? Or did it change when I touched it? Why did I imagine it so different?
With a series of little experiments, I try to reproduce this disorienting feeling.
